As I think back on Everest’s birth, the word that comes to mind is “intense.” This was the most intense experience of my life, something my body couldn’t entirely prepare for ahead of time and yet knew how to do anyway.
Before I get too far away from pregnancy, I wanted to summarize how the third trimester went (truthfully!).
When we found out we were having a baby, a shower was the last thing on our mind. But as we soon learned that pregnancy wasn’t as glamorous as everyone’s maternity photos made it out to be, we decided we wanted to celebrate this time in our lives with all of our friends and family!
In early April towards the end of our second trimester, we planned a weekend away, just the two of us, to take some time away and celebrate our baby.
