Wedding Wednesdays allow us to spotlight creatives, local and not-so-local, whose work we love! These wedding vendors, artists, and small businesses are all doing amazing things and we think that our couples should know about them! We invite you to come along with us to learn more about these businesses that will help you make your day as meaningful as possible (and, if you’re a Radian Bride/Groom, that we would love to work with)!
This week, we’re talking with Rosanne Darmanin, the owner of Cottage Luxe. We love how her furniture and accessories can totally transform the look of a space, like they did at this editorial shoot at the Mims House!
RP: Tell us about Cottage Luxe and who you love to serve!
Rosanne: We love serving happy couples who want to create a unique look for their weddings. Last week, I had a couple that saw our Henry Bar Back in the showroom. They got so excited when they saw it (and so did the bride’s mom) and talked about how they would like to make that and one of new Hemingway Bars a focal point. We had so much fun throwing ideas around on how to style it. They were positively giddy about the whole thing! I loved it.
RP: What do you wish brides and grooms knew when thinking about event styling and rentals for their wedding?
Rosanne: I really wish couples knew how chairs can transform the entire look of both a ceremony and the reception.
RP: What resources or advice do you suggest for brides and grooms who are thinking about their dream wedding?
Rosanne: I always tell my brides to have fun with the process, stay true to their own style, and to hire a wedding planner!
RP: What are you working on right now that’s keeping you happy and energized?
Rosanne: We’re so excited about the design of our new Hemingway Bars and some fun blog posts coming up!
RP: When you planned your wedding, what is one unforgettable thing that you did to make sure your day and marriage were intentionally crafted?
Rosanne: I remember insisting on Farm Tables! Back then (21 years ago) I had to find a venue that provided them. Oh, how I wish I had our farm tables at our wedding! I made sure to keep all the details true to my style. Simply put, it was casually elegant 🙂
RP: Where can we see more of your work and learn more about you?
