Wedding Wednesdays allow us to spotlight creatives, local and not-so-local, whose work we love! These wedding vendors, artists, and small businesses are all doing amazing things and we think that our couples should know about them! We invite you to come along with us to learn more about these businesses that will help you make your day as meaningful as possible (and, if you’re a Radian Bride/Groom, that we would love to work with)!
This week, we’re talking with Bailey Leitch, who manages The Bradford, one of our favorite venues in New Hill, North Carolina. We’ve photographed The Bradford a handful of times (like this amazing wedding, a holiday shoot, and a very green floral workshop), and we’re excited to shoot some weddings there this summer and fall as well! We have fallen in love with The Bradford’s simple elegance, so we asked Bailey to share more about it!
RP: Tell us about the Bradford and who you love to serve!
Bailey: The Bradford is a French-inspired wedding venue serving the RDU area. One of the most unique things about The Bradford is we run as a bed and breakfast. Our guests have the option to stay the night and get a delicious home cooked breakfast in the morning (perfect for the bride and her squad the night before the big day).
RP: What do you wish brides and grooms knew when thinking about the venue for their wedding?
Bailey: My team and I really go above and beyond for our clients. We don’t just unlock the doors; we bring special attention to each bride and groom to make their day amazing! Our open floor plan and simple design allows brides to bring in whatever design dreams they have. We fit well with a variety of different themes: vintage, classic, shabby-chic, modern, elegant, rustic, trendy, and romantic.
RP: What resources or advice do you suggest for brides and grooms who are thinking about their dream wedding?
Bailey: A wedding planner! They really are one of the best investments you can make. They take on responsibilities that free you and your family up to enjoy the day!
RP: What are you working on right now that’s keeping you happy and energized?
Bailey: We are in the process of designing and finishing the third floor of The Bradford. It will be one large bridal suite, and I have to say (I’m biased, of course), it is going to be magical! This project has been keeping me happy and very busy on top of all of my wonderful clients.
RP: When you planned your wedding, what is one unforgettable thing that you did to make sure your day and marriage were intentionally crafted?
Bailey: Our officiant had us turn and face our guests at the end of our ceremony and look out at all the people who raised us, loved us, and impacted our lives and it was one of the most meaningful moments of the entire wedding.
RP: Where can we see more of your work and learn more about you?
