We love our alma mater, and think Chapel Hill is a great location for family photos. There is always beautiful greenery and we loved spending time there with the Stella family.
Once upon a time, in pre-COVID days, Lauren contacted me because her family was planning on coming into town. She was interested in an extended family session that included her parents and brother’s family as well.
I’m sure you can guess how this story ends…!
Due to COVID, we rescheduled several times and decided to continue with the session when Lauren’s parents came into town. We met on UNC’s campus, one of our favorite places in the world!
Getting to know Lauren and her family was so sweet — her kiddos, Carter and Max, were so wonderful to work with. We were impressed that they held it together in the heat! Carter was especially caring towards his little brother and we can tell how much joy and love there is in this family.
We started out their session at Coker Arboretum, which is lovely during this time of year — though we had a sunny day, it was really warm so we found lots of beautiful shady spots in the greenery. Forest Theatre, just a short walk away from the arboretum was our second stop. This is such a fun place to take kids because, as Carter demonstrated, they love running up and down the steps!
Lauren and David, we had such a wonderful evening with your beautiful family! We so appreciate your flexibility during this challenging season of postponements and closures and reschedules and hope to work with you all again soon!
Here’s what Lauren had to say when I sent her some sneak peeks of her photos!:
