Pantone just released their color of the year, and it’s one that we love! 2017 will be the year of Greenery!
Personally, we think this is a great choice and we have lots of ideas for how you can incorporate it into your wedding! Green is such a fresh color, and can add so much depth to your wedding day if used correctly.
1. Bouquets and florals: not only are green bouquets so gorgeous, but often, they can help you save money on your floral budget! We love overflowing greenery on tables, and large, wild bouquets filled with eucalyptus or olive branches. Talk to your florist about your ideas for florals and incorporating more greenery into them! The eucalyptus garland created by Flowers on Broad Street below was so incredible.
2. Stationery: We can’t get enough of Sage Paper Co‘s lovely brush lettering work and we love the pops of green in those envelope liners! Even if you choose not to work with a stationer to create a custom invitation suite for your wedding, if you love green, think about how you might be able to incorporate it with your paper materials — you could even use stamps!
3. Bridesmaids dresses: We love bridesmaids in green! The dress below was from BHLDN and flowed beautifully. We think they would look amazing at a summer wedding (especially paired with a great bouquet…)!
