Katie and Adam’s vision for their wedding is one of the most unique that we’ve heard. From her vintage dress, ring, and grandmother’s jewelry to the venue, the The Ridgeland Mansion, whose mission it is to support people whose lives have been affected by cancer, to their invitations, which were printed on recycled paper so as not to waste resources, to their plates and silverware which were biodegradable, each detail of this event was clearly intentional, which we absolutely loved.
Where do we even start with highlights from this wedding? On a personal level, we loved being back in Philadelphia and celebrating with friends from grad school. But there were so many details from the wedding itself that stand out. Some fun facts: Katie was the picture of calm and poised until the moment she saw Adam standing at the end of the aisle. Radhika tears up every time she sees that photo. Dinner was catered by a vegetarian food truck, Jerry’s Kitchen Food Truck (which was amazing!) and the donut cake seems to have come straight out of our dreams and was created by Federal Donuts. The bouquets were assembed by Katie but the flowers were provided by Triple Tree Farms, and we stopped by the Clark Park farmer’s market the next day to snag photos of our own! After their first dance, Katie and Adam’s parents and siblings all joined them for a combined dance, which was beautiful. The toasts, the dancing, and the selfies were out of this world. Absolutely everything came together beautifully.
Katie and Adam, we are thankful for your friendship! Thank you for allowing us to photograph your wedding! We cannot wait to see all the adventures that will you will take on together in your lives.
