This NC Museum of Art engagement session is giving us all of the heart eeyes! Lili and Markus won an engagement session with us…in January. COVID claimed their original date and session location (spring, Duke Gardens), but I’m not going to lie — I’m kind of happy about that!
We ended up heading to the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh, NC for their engagement session instead. This is one of our favorite places in the area for sessions because there are so many different location options — as you can see in the images below! There’s tons of beautiful greenery, but there are also great locations for fun, artistic photos with the large sculptures and architectural details around the museum! We especially loved the images we took at the reflecting pool. There was a short wait to get to it, but we just took more photos nearby while we waited! As always, we also enjoyed walking around the grassy area with the large sculptures. The beautiful rainbow house that we’ve seen before at sessions is no longer there, but there are still some really lovely spots around the area, and it makes for a great place to pack a picnic!
Technically, Lili and Markus are already married but are planning a larger celebration next year near his hometown in Austria. Markus made it on what seems like the last airplane over to thee US before things really shut down due to COVID, and they opted for an intimate courthouse celebration before this session took place. Still, we were thrilled with the amazing light of the evening. Looking at these photos, you wouldn’t even be able to tell that the temperature hovered around 90 degrees that day! Not a drop of sweat in sight!
Lili and Markus, we had a wonderful time with you two at your NC Museum of Art engagement session! We hope you love the images as much as we do and we wish you the best of luck for a long, happy married life!
