For those of you who have been here for a while, you may recognize Ahana in these photos! Well, she’s now the cutest big sister and we’re so excited to introduce you to her baby sister, Alina!
We were so excited to hear that Deesha and Dhaval were pregnant with their second little one when we saw them for mini sessions in the fall. At their maternity session, Ahana was so cute reading her books about becoming a big sister and giving her mama’s belly kisses. It’s clear that she was ready to be a big sister and we loved watching how loving she was!
We met Alina this past weekend and she is just adorable. She has lots of hair, just like Ahana had when she was born, and at 3 weeks old, she’s already outgrowing some of the clothes that Ahana wore at her newborn session! Second babies, am I right?
When we arrived, Alina was getting her fill of milk, so we got to hang out with Ahana and Dhaval as she jumped on her bed. Our favorite thing about this session was hearing Ahana talk about her baby sister: “A-LIIII-NA!” So cute! We even got to re-do a few of the photos we did for Ahana’s newborn session, like her laying on the monkey mat. Ahana was an amazing sport with Alina — holding her carefully, giving her kisses, and being extra, extra careful with her. Near the end of the session, we asked Dhaval and Deesha to look at each other while they held Alina and they said, “Oh wow, I haven’t really looked at you in a long time!” We totally know how that feels and are glad we could carve out that moment for the two of them!
Looking back at Ahana’s newborn photos from 3 years ago is so crazy! It is wonderful AND scary how much time changes little ones. Deesha and Dhaval, we are so lucky to know you two! Your daughters are amazing and we can’t wait to watch Alina grow up too!
