We met Karlie and Matt at an open house at the Bradford earlier this year, where they won a mini session with us designed by Amanda of Amanda Blair by Design!
Even though Karlie and Matt already had a photographer booked for their wedding, they introduced to their friends, DC and Evan, who got married in Charleston in May and whose wedding we had the privilege to photograph. Over the course of the year, we’ve seen them in various contexts and gotten to know them better, so we were so excited to capture these images of them for their anniversary session.
Some of our favorite aspects of this session:
- This session took place at the Bradford, which was Karlie and Matt’s wedding venue. Karlie and Matt had their engagement session there in the spring, got married in the summer, and took these photos in the fall with a touch of holiday decor, so we joked that they had experienced the Bradford in all of the seasons that year!
- We happened to meet up with Amy of Plume Events on the same day at The Bradford, and she put together these gorgeous florals for us to use at their session. Somehow, the fall colors worked out beautifully with the rest of the set up! We’re always so happy to work with Plume florals!
- Some of the Greenhouse Picker Sisters’ beautiful furniture rentals were at the Bradford from another event and Amanda was able to incorporate them into the design! The white fuzzy blanket on that red chair had us wanting Christmas in August!
- Amanda designed a giant wreath made of magnolia leaves for the photos! Isn’t it incredible? One for our front door, please!
Karlie and Matt, we are so glad that we met you earlier this year and that you won this session! It’s been such a pleasure getting to know you — we hope you love these photos as much as we do!
