By now, you should be familiar with the Shah family! We have loved watching Ahana grow over the years and can’t believe she’s two years old now!
We met up with Deesha, Dhaval, and Ahana at the JC Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh to photograph them having fun and playing together. Because this session was so close to Holi, we decide to have a little color fun at the end of the session!
Holi is the festival of color in India and is one of the most fun holidays we know of. It usually takes place in the spring, but doesn’t have an exact date (kind of like Thanksgiving)! It’s usually a really festive celebration and we’re glad we were able to have fun with it at this session as well!
Everyone changed into white clothing (the best for colors to stick to!) and we opened up the powder. Unfortunately, Ahana didn’t love it, but warmed up to the idea of throwing some powder in the arms of her dad!
We love how these photos turned out and are so glad we were able to capture this fun session! Thanks for meeting up with us again, Deesha and Dhaval!
