So you’re having a COVID wedding, and looking for a venue? We love how creative Nathan and Rachel got with their Fount Coffee wedding!
Rachel and Nathan met because her roommate grew up with him and introduced them. After years of dating, he proposed on the beach at her parents’ beach house. One of the things we loved most about these two is that they actually ended up having the wedding that they always wanted. When we first talked to them about their plans, they explained that COVID was a great excuse to have the small, simple ceremony that they really wanted. Needless to say, it turned out beautifully! It warms our hearts to hear about couples making the best out of this wild pandemic our world is in the middle of.
They chose one of their favorite spots in town, Fount Coffee, and planned the ceremony around the beautiful wall with text “Come as you are.” How fitting, right? Some florals and Rachel’s DIY table decor make the space look fresh. Fun fact: this is the first ever Fount Coffee wedding, but we’re sure that it won’t be the last! It’s the perfect space for a modern, intimate affair and makes for such a lovely celebration with family! As Durham wedding photographers, we were so impressed that a wedding at a coffee shop could look and feel so amazing!
When asked to give one piece of advice to a recently engaged couple about planning their wedding or the start of their marriage, they wrote, “Vendors are EVERYTHING!” and we can’t agree more! Thank you to the team for making this event so beautiful!
Nathan and Rachel, we loved photographing this beautiful day for you two! We hope you love these images as much as we do and wish you a long and beautiful married life together.
