We met Katie and Alex in the fall of last year at the Bradford! They were the winners of our styled engagement session giveaway with Amanda of Amanda Blair by Design, and we had so much fun capturing their beautiful shoot in February!
Here’s what Katie and Alex had to say about their engagement story:
Prior to our engagement, we both knew we wanted to make this moment extra special and extra unique. After designing custom rings, we each planned a “special” day for the other. Katie created a beautiful and romantic sunset beach blanket setup at the Four Seasons in Palm Beach with the song “A Thousand Years by Christina Perri” and “Turning Page” by Sleeping at Last playing in the back ground. After Alex said YES, we popped a bottle of champagne and enjoyed our water-front private cabana decorated with photos and flowers. The next day, Alex chartered a private sailboat for the day and proposed to Katie by the famous Lighthouse. After she said yes, the captain took us out to Sea where we both got to experience sailing to the fullest. It was a perfect, magical weekend we’ll never forget!
Amanda pulled together a great team of vendors and artists to create a magical engagement shoot for Katie and Alex. We did this in two parts: one with the floral wall installation by Amy of Plume Events downstairs. Then, with the last of the light, we photographed a more intimate “breakfast in bed” shoot in all black and white upstairs! We love how both of these turned out. Thank you so much to this vendor team for bringing this session to life!:
