Even though we work together, running a business can be lonely! Being a photographer means that we get to meet with our clients in person — that’s one of our favorite parts of Radian Photography. However, sometimes it’s helpful to talk to people who just get it. That’s why this Photo Field Trip was so amazing.
It’s always nice to try new things, and this session allowed us to do just that…while surrounded by a slew of other photographers. It was certainly fun to see what others were trying, and hopping into different positions around the couple to sneak a few great shots. We love being able to be inspired by others — talk photography with them and learn new things from them: just look at this photo below for proof!
Brian and Ellie certainly made things easy on us. One amazing thing about them? They’re dancers, so they really knew how to position and move their bodies. With very little direction from us, they were able to create poses that made them look both warm and graceful!
Our favorite part of the Photo Field Trip had to be going to the skate park. Though we’ve always known where it is, we’ve never thought to use it in one of our sessions! The photos created with skateboarders in the background are some of our new personal favorites! It’s also something we know wouldn’t have happened without being on the Photo Field Trip! A huge thank you to Mark Maya for hosting these and inviting us along!
Brian and Ellie, thank you so much for braving the cold with us! You two are something special, and we are so glad that you were able to be there for this Photo Field Trip! We hope you love these photos as much as we do!
