On the last day of September, we met up with Tina and Rob at Duke Gardens. The weather in North Carolina takes a little while to realize it’s fall, so it was still warm, but absolutely beautiful.
Here’s the craziest thing about this couple: they were convinced that we should only take “far away” photos of them because photos up close wouldn’t turn out well. We think the whole world will agree that they are wrong! If there’s anything we love proving our couples wrong about, it’s this. People in love always look good, and we’re always happy to capture them!
Tina and Rob are not only in the process of planning their wedding next May at the Oaks at Salem, a beautiful venue in Apex, NC, but are also busy building their future house! They told us all about it during their engagement session. The stunning old farm house sits on TWO acres! Tina wants to plant a garden with her half, while Rob is apparently plotting to build a football field! We can’t wait to see how that turns out!
Duke Gardens is one of favorite spots for photos at sunset, and we made sure to stop by the red bridge and gazebo. We loved how, after every stop, Tina would gently grab Rob’s face and give him a kiss — we were able to capture it a few times at their session! Our favorite photos, though, happened at the end of the session when Tina and Rob spent a little bit of time dancing! 🙂
Tina and Rob, thanks so much for meeting us for this beautiful engagement session! We hope we have changed your minds about how photographs of the two of you turn out, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you next spring at your wedding!
