Our friend Erin, who used to run Makin’ Whoopie Kitchen (funniest business name ever!) is starting a brand new business soon — The Magick Makers!
We were so excited that she took us up on an offer for a mini branding session at our studio location at House of Work in downtown Durham. With this new business, Erin is pivoting to offer seasonal provisions, DIY bars for rituals (like relaxing self-care baths), and lots of crafty, witchy goodness!
Images that included reflections, movement, and color shifts played a huge role in this branding session because The Magick Makers ISN’T an every day brand, and so Erin’s brand photos definitely deserved some extra love! We love the images that show Erin in her zone — mixing up magic!
One of our favorite parts of the session, though? Erin sent us home with some DIY bath salts with yummy herbs that she made for us on the spot! I can’t wait for her DIY ritual stations to become a thing, and I’m already enjoying using the bath salts during this COVID-craziness!
We want to give a huge shout out to Michelle of Karen Michelle Clark for hair and makeup work! If you’re booking a session, even if it’s a mini, we strongly recommend getting your hair and makeup done so you can feel as confident as Erin looked in her photos!
Erin, thank you so much for booking your branding mini with us! We’re in love with these photos and are so grateful that you trusted us to create some magic with you! We had fun watching you work and can’t wait for you to bring your talents to life under this new business. We’re cheering for you!
